This is the W205 C-Class saloon, launched in 2014, in C 250 form. Its 1,991 cc M 274 four-cylinder uses a turbocharger and direct injection to make 211 PS at 5,500 rpm and 350 Nm from 1,200 to 4,000 rpm. In 2015 the C 250 came with the seven-speed 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic; Mercedes switched it to the nine-speed 9G-TRONIC only for cars delivered from December 2016. Drive goes to the rear wheels. European figures give 0–100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.

It suits a buyer who wants a modern, quick executive saloon with a well-equipped cabin. The official European combined figure was 5.3 L/100 km (about 18.9 km/L) on the old NEDC test, which real-world driving, especially in Nairobi traffic, will not match. The 18-inch wheels use low-profile tyres (225/45 front and 245/40 rear on the European AMG Line). These cost more to replace, and reviewers found the AMG Line ride firmer. At around ten years old, check the service record. Have the air-conditioning checked for leaks, which Malaysian independent mechanics report as a common W205 repair. Make sure the camera, sensors, powered boot and memory seats all work.
